Go Outside for Earth Day!

This Earth Day, let’s get smart, get healthy and get kids outside!

The No Child Left Inside Coalition and Earth Day Network have co-sponsored a new campaign for the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, telling educators and students to go outside on April 22nd.

Getting students outside to learn and play is good for their brains and their bodies. Please help us spread the word, in hopes that this Earth Day every student across the country will have the opportunity to experience the outdoor classroom.

Earth Day Network is a member of the No Child Left Inside (NCLI) Coalition, which works to promote environmental education legislation. The No Child Left Inside Act of 2009 addresses critical environmental challenges by strengthening and expanding environmental education in America’s classrooms.

You can support NCLI and environmental education by:

  1. Planning an Earth Day activity outside. Use our action tool-kit to engage with your students and much more!
  2. Submitting your Earth Day activities to [email protected] as part of the No Child Left Inside/Earth Day Network national campaign to promote environmental and outdoor learning.
  3. Telling Congress to support environmental education in the community and across America.
Join us in helping students to learn outside for Earth Day!
